Writer's picture: katkatoglaagkatkatoglaag

One of the most important Filipino bread is the ubiquitous pandesal, which was introduced to the Philippines in the 16th century. It was the Spaniards' counterpart to the French baguette. Pan de sal means “bread of salt” in Spanish, for the pinch of salt that is added to the dough. 🍞Siargao, Surigao del Norte @kirkyboyy #KatkatOgLaag Use the official hashtag #KatkatOgLaag or email us at angkolz08@gmail.com to be featured! Also follow us on other social media accounts Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr and Linkedin: @katkatoglaag #filipinofood #pinoyfood #foodie #foodporn #filipinofoodmovement #filipino #food #filipinocuisine #lutongbahay #whattoeatph #pinoy #foodphotography #instafood #foodgasm #philippines #foodstagram #foodgrammerph #eeeeeats #foodph #yummyph #lutongpinoy #instaeat #eatpilipinas #pinoyfoodie #foodphotography #foodlover #eat #homemade
